Christof Elbrechter studied computer science at Bielefeld University and
received a master's degree (German Diplom) in 2006 for his thesis "The TDI-
Framework for dynamic learning architectures in intelligent, interactive
systems". He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in the Neuroinformatics Group and
is working within the BMBF project ERBI ("Learning Bimanual Interactions"),
which is a part of the DESIRE initiative. His main field of research is
computer vision and he is focused on Human Computer Interfaces, in particular
hand-pose reconstruction.
